Obviuslythis will be from personal experiences so everyone will have a different view.

DO you think it is more effective to attent a spanish class with other people, or have a one to one tutor? Or both even, if you have the time and money wink

Or is it easier just to jump streight into the country (or any country for that matter) and pray you will pick the language up. Something i realy couldnt do laugh

Look forward to your replies, Andy wave

Well, if money is no object, then going to a class and having a personal tutor at the same time is the best idea. A class situation is great for conversation and oral skills, just hearing other people responding to and asking other questions helps you to figure things out in a different way.
The personal tutor is great as an additional tool. The one on one experience can help fine tune the little errors that get overlooked sometimes in a class.
Listening to music (reading the lyrics too) and listening to podcasts as well as watching movies with subtitles and trying to listen to radio and watch tv. All of these will help a lot as you try to put everything together!
Buena suerte!!!
