I'll post a fuller review of my recent trip later but I wanated to report that the Los Arcos rest./hotel in Cuenca --some staffer, I'm sure-- stole my credit card number and within 3 hours was trying to purchase over $5,000 euros worth of merchandise --the food was lousy there too. Avoid the mortarelo.

Wow, it happened the same to my sister's boyfriend some months ago. They were eating at a restaurant in Cuenca and he paid with his debibt card.

In the following days, somone tried to charge him purchases made in different countries (such as in Italy). I don't know if it was the same restaurant Juan is talking about. I'll ask him.
