For literal translation: ?Zamora was not won in an hour'.

For making it rhyme, is there any poet? :p laugh

The English equivalent to that Zamora thing is "Rome was not built in a day." And perfecta, is "forgetalo" another one of those expressions like "lunche" and "watchear" that are cropping up everywhere, or were you just kidding?

I heard 'forgetalo' (missing tilde on the e) in texas this summer but I have never heard anything like that in the 'motherland'. If you are interested in slang expressions in Spanish or 'anglesismos' that are steadily creeping into the language, try this site :
www. geocities.com/athens/Olympus/1960/
It has slang for each spanish-speaking country as well as EEUU Spanish (Spanglish). Hasta la bye bye!

Majesty, et al
I don't know how sensitive the above slang address is but it should be : www.geocities.com/Athens/Olympus/1960/

Actually, if really interested in slang/anglesismos you can do a google search with the words 'argot jerga anglesismos' and come up with many dictionary/list hits.
Nos vemos later

AAARGH!!! If I catch any one of you using abominations like "forgétalo" in public I will dress you in a Sanbenito and burn you at the stake in the Plaza Mayor de Madrid (after you get flogged by the jefes of the Real Academia Española). That sounds like the joke-Spanish my wife and I use when we talk around the house!!!!

Perfecta: I missed the blackberry thing...¡parece que el tontolino soy yo!
