Any ideas My parents are from Spain and I only have my parents marriage Cert. and mothers birth Cert. and my birth Cert. I was born in Australia ... and would like to know if I could get a Euro-Passport!!!...Speak read and write spanish Fluent!!!

Geeeze! Your parents should have done all this for you. You need only go to the Spanish Embassy closest to you and apply for your rightful citizenship! Perhaps, according to your age, your parents could go with you!

Someone in Spain/from Spain told me that there were many Argentinians who were getting citizenship because their grandparents were from Spain. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? Parents I can understand, but grandparents? Seemed dubious ...

That kind of question is lawyer or embassy material.

I do know Italy is much more lenient than Spain with the family decendency/origin and granting of passports.

Welcome back Asterault, long time no hear from!
With regard to the post, I understand that the parentage lies with the grandfather in this matter. This seems to be a standard requirement in most countries you wish to obtain a passport for.
