I have seen some 3d Animation/Art Festival promotional material for an event called La Futura (or something like it)in Spain. I'm aware that there is alot of 3d animation going on in Spain and would love to know more about work opportunities.
I have worked in the field for a couple of years using Softimage and 3d Max. I'm a graphic/multimedia designer.
catch is- I do not have a european passport and would need to be sponored.
Would love to hear from anyone who could help.

As for working in Spain as a graphical / multimedia designer, I have recently read in the newspaper that there is high demand of this kind of professionals.

However, I can't tell you which companies may have vacancies. There are some threads about working in Spain. Read them and try the links they provide.
