Be aware that there are Demonstrations planned this weekend in Madrid against the war in Iraq and NATO. Looks like they plan to march from Plaza de España to Plaza de Santa Cruz and have a concert. There are also demonstrations planned in numerous other cities throughout Spain. I plan on staying away from downtown this weekend.

Sweet. Not me, I'd go and take pictures. (I'm a photographer, if that explains anything. ;-) We run toward fire when everyone else runs away at the first smell of smoke :-) But good advice. I imagine it would be pretty crazy busy.
