Any feedback on Melia Sitges in Barcelona? My wife & I and our 11 year old son are traveling to Barcelona from USA in July and would like to get some hints re lodging in Barcelona or close by resorts.

I just have one feedback for you in terms of Sitges. Though it is a very beautiful and laid-back town, far from the Barcelona's maddening crowd, it is also the gay capital of Spain. So, if you have even the slightest case of homophobia, I would suggest staying elsewhere. Other than that, the Melia Sitges would be fine and it's probably only about a 30 min train ride to Barcelona.
