Hi everyone,

I'm not too concerned with regular everyday wear, but what kind of clothing do the locals wear to go out to clubs, bars, etc.? I plan to spend time in Madrid & Salamanca (mostly the latter) and would just like a general idea what I can expect...

In a nutshell, going out is more formal then the U.S. You may be well aware of that so excuse my pointing out the obvious. Nice leather shoes, slacks, and a good looking shirt. Doesn't need to be collared if you in a club or bar though. And no hats. If this is far too general, I appologize.

Someone else might want to suggest name brands and such.
