Hi all
I'm looking to move to Madrid later in 2002 with my boyfriend and toddler. We're probably going to try and rent a studio flat. Could anyone tell us what the usual conditions are, ie deposits (1mth?), length of contracts and the all important average cost p/mth. Is accomodation hard to come by? What are landlords likely to ask for (ie, job details, bank details, references???). HELP!!!!!!!!!!
Luv, Lorraine xxx

lorraine,

Welcome to the board. I just posted the following message about an hour ago in the Looking for permanent accomodation in Madrid thread. I would recommend browsing through the posts already on this board and on the Multimadrid board (described below). You will find alot of already posted info in these two forums on your topic.
