Is Advantix film readily available in Spain? My camera is advantix, and seeing as I will be backpacking for 2 months, I don't really look forward to the idea of having to carry a huge supply of advantix film all the way from the US. Thanx

It is available but expensive, all film in Spain is pretty expensive and Advantix is even more so. Developing is also not cheap, about 1000 ptas. ($5-$6) for regular film (if you know where to go, i.e. not touristy places) and it is significantly more for Advantix.

I also have an advantix camera and when I want to take a lot of pictures but not carry around a lot of film cartridges, I buy the film with the 40 exposures rather than 25. Its like having two rolls in one. You can still change the cartridge for a different speed if you want and reuse it later.
