Madrid: English Movie Theaters?

I'm wondering where I might be able to find movie theaters in Madrid that show movies in English (and also hoping that these movies will be shown closer to their release date in the US). Even movie theaters that play movies in English with Spanish subtitles would work... Thanks to anyone who might be able to help!

You're well served in Madrid when it comes to Version Original cinema. Just look in, say, the cinema pages of El Pais and you'll find a whole litings section. The cinemas to look out for are Yelmo Ideal, everyone calls it Ideal, just off Sol. And then around Plaza España: here'll you'll find Cines Princesa, Renoir and Alphaville. In all, you'll find at any given time some 18-20 screens showing films in English. Also, check out the Filmoteca in Calle Santa Isabel, the national Film Archive's cinema. For 1 euro a show you can catch whole series of great films, especialy the classics. Imagine a week of Ernst Lubitsch or Billy Wilder and so on all for a bargain price! Al of these have websites- just type in the cinema name and "Madrid" into Google and you'll find them. PS - when you see film listings in the newspaper it will say VOS (Version Original Subtitulado) when it's in the original language. Of course, this may turn out to be Chinese, but you'll know when it's an English-language movie I'm sure)

There's also a great theater that shows pretty much only VO movies in all different languages...and a lot of times they're more "Indie" type movies (not the big blockbusters).
I went there 8 million times while I was living in Madrid and for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. It's just up the street from the Quevedo Metro station (heading away from the city center). If I can think of the name I'll post it...

It has 5 screens. Currently showing Allen's "Match Point", Jarmusch's "Broken Flowers", and Burton's "Corpse bride"

Verdi is great. The seats are stadium style, even if the theaters are small. Plus, there are tons of restaurants around for a bite after the show.
However, I'm currently in Portugal, where I've been spoiled. No such thing as dubbing!!! Even on television!

I enjoyed watching a film (Matchpoint) at Verdi this Saturday. One thing to be aware of is that films here start ON TIME. I walked into the room at exactly 3.45 on Saturday afternoon expecting to have to sit through 10 minutes of anuncios. The film had already started (3.45 was the publicized start time) and it was a bit of a struggle to find a seat as the lights had already dimmed.

Every time I´ve been to Verdi there has been a person who has "escorted" me to my seat, he also has a flashlight if the lights are already out.

A lot of the cinemas show movies in English. A lot of Spaniards prefer to keep the original sound and use subtitles.
Interesting fact, however: If it is dubbed over in Spanish and features a well known actor, it will always be the same voice no matter what movie it is. For example, Mel Gibson, if dubbed in Spanish would be the same guy's voice in Braveheart as in the Patriot
