Hi! I'm planning a 3-week-trip in Spain from late Dec. thru early Jan.

Through a guidebood "Let's go", I've selected several accomodations to stay in. Due to my budget, I always prefer a cheap place, but I also want clean, and conveniently-located places.

Among my selections:
Salamanca - Pension Estefania
Avila - Pension Continental
El Escorial - Juvenil "El Escorial"
Cordoba - Residencia Juvenil Cordoba
Sevilla - Pension Vergara
Granada - Hostal Venecia

If you have been to any of these places listed above, please give me your comments about whether you'd recommend it to others or not.

whatsinspain, just so you'll be sure what you're getting, only those two with "juvenil" in their titles are youth-hostels (called "albergue juveniles" in Spanish). The other two ("hostal" and "pension") are privately owned and operated budget hotels and you'll have your own private room - not a shared room with bunk beds like in a youth-hostel.

And if I were you, I'd be careful staying in Sevilla's Pension Viagra. I've heard stories about that place...
