I am flying into Madrid Friday morning, March 21 and would like to attend the football game on Sunday night between Real Madrid and Deportivo. What is the best way to go about obtaining one ticket? Is there a place online to buy them or is it best to wait until I get there and try to find one? Cheers....Emanuel

You can always seem to get tickets the day of the game, although I don't recommend a "scalper".

Even for rivalry games, like the one we attended between Valencia and RM a few years back, you can get "standing room only"-style seating. We actually ended up on the fringe of the Valencia section.

With Dépor coming into town, it should be a good match, but you might get lucky, and not have to pay inflated scalper prices, etc. by going to the taquilla for SRO seats.

Cali Basco has it right. Go stright to the ground on the day you arrive and walk round to the taqillas. All the touts will try and sell you their tickets claiming its sold out. If you prefer sorting it out before you leave try ticket agency localidades galicia.

I took a peep at Localidades Galicia. This small company looks reliable but there is no other company in Madrid selling tickets? I seem to be unable to find any other.

Have tried to get tickets for big games previously, generally without too much of a problem. Query: once found myself in the position of buying from a tout (scalper?), but had to re-sell tickets when travel plans changed. Touts were reluctant, as they were 'Socio' tickets: what does this mean? Supporters' Club tickets and thus in need of a card?
