My wife and I will be in Madrid for only 2 days at the end of March. We are staying at the Hotel Agumar which is at 7 Paseo de Reina Cristina kind of southeast of the Prado and Atocha station. I'm hoping someone will know of a 'don't miss' tapas bar or restaurant that is walking distance from the hotel. We are a younger couple and cost isn't a big deal, we are looking for a place to have a few drink in the evening and enjoy quality food and spirits. Also, does anyone have a review of the Hotel Agumar?

I think you are very close to "Aloque" one of the best wine bars of the city, and the first one to exist. It is in Torrecilla del Real st.
