just went to this restarant last night, had an absolute blast, just like in spain, definitely would recommend it

Looks good! Through Google.com, I found information about Tapería Madrid in New York City through The Village Voice and a nice frontal photo @ 1159.com .

Still, somehow I doubt any New York City (or other US city) establishment could match the cheap prices which exist throughout Spain.

That sounds like a good place, and thanks for the links Madrid Man, I think I have seen it a couple times, but you never know how good it is until you hear something about it.

Better yet are Ñ and Xunta in Soho and the E Village.

taperia madrid was not as cheap as spain, nothing is...can you tell me more about N and Xunta..i went to Bolo last night and was rather disappointed...i have some of the madrilenas visiting me now so i am trying to find spanish places

Xunta is on 1st between 10th/11th (I am not sure... 174 1st Ave is the address.) and is a Galician place. . Smoke filled and loud, just like Spain. Fills up quickly though.

Ñ is in Soho, on Crosby St. A bit 'pijo,' but decent.

Also, Sala, on the Bowery is nice.
