I have been there once and indeed it is an "interesting" place for the atmosphere but folks don't really go there for fine cuisine.
Yes, the waiters are drag queens and there is a show (a drag queen one believe it or not).
GulaGula was hot and hip when it opened years back but now it is a bit Pasè.
Just an opinion.

p.d. If anyone is thinking about going to GulaGula, I am willing to dress up as my girlfriend and serve them a better meal at my apartment looking over the Plaza Mayor, jejeje
... and for half the price.
