In his book, "The Sun also Rises", Ernest Hemingway described "Torremolinos", Spain as the 24/7 party town in all of Spain. That was in 1923 so I imagine a lot has changed since then.
I first visited Torremolinos in 1960. It still had some of what 'Papa' Hemingway described. When I returned in 1974, I tried to order breakfast at a bar/restaurant out on the bluff, but the wait staff were all 'Brits' and they didn't understand Spanish. That became my 'Farewell to Arms' for Torremolinos.

Hemingway also had a favorite 'watering hole' in Madrid (I used to go there for the
Angulas. And there's Pamplona ...
