Any info on La Gomera? how to get there, places to stay etc?

I've never heard of La Gomera. I too am looking forward to responses. What/Where is it?

La Gomera is a small island situated west of Tenerife. It´s a very recommendable place for the rural tourism with an important natural legacy.

in other words its located in the canry lslands.
you need to go to tenerife island and take a ferry westward to gomera island.

it the most beautiful island in the canaries naturewise.you can stay at the parador conde de la gomera.its one of the most beautiful paradors in spain not just the islands.

the negatives about gomera island is that its much more sunLESS there than for example las palmas the sun hours per year are compared to the north of spain.

Sorry Mike, lovely Gomera may be - yes it get overcast.However, one day there feels like a fortnight!!!! We got the ferry there but splashed out to get thr quicker hydrofoil back. Mucho boring. Stick to Teneriffe.

I passed there one night, but we camped besides a town, sorry. I think it won't be difficult to find a place to sleep once there, or in a travel agence in Tenerife. I think it's a place that worth at least 2 days to see the whole island, consider also to visit La Palma.
If you cannot go there at the end, you could also visit the region of La Anaga in Tenerife to make yourself an idea of what it could look like.
