A friend of mine is traveling in a group of adventurers/pilgrims that will ultimately end their spiritual journey in Santiago de Compostela. I just received the following urgent email from them. Any assistance you can provide me in helping them would be greatly appreciated. Muchisimas gracias.

"...We are running into a bind getting a van ...We are going to be transporting people by van from Leon, Spain to Sarria where they start their hike. We will then drive the van to carry their luggage from city to city every day until we get to Santiago. We just found out that our 15 passenger van that we reserved online doesn't exist and according to Alamo, they don't rent large vans like that in Europe. We have been calling Madrid and thus far they don't seem to have any vans available. Would you have any ideas who to contact to rent a large van in Madrid? or at this point we would even take 2 small vans?..."

Aerocity rents vans. Try their website. They have VW's that hold 7 passengers. They also rent Rolls Royces

I tried a quick google search and came up with a listing of places from Páginas Amarillas as well as Mi Busca .

Note that monovolúmenes means mini vans. I searched for minibus and furgoneta (small van/truck). Perhaps one of these places will have something to help your friends.
