What is the most convenient way to travel from madrid to seville? Is there any information on buses on the internet?
How long would it take by bus to get to seville and how much would it cost?
What about trains?

Hi,

The bus ride isn't bad. I've done it, and the only part that was interesting was when you go through the mountains. We happened to have a driver who thought he was on the Grand Prix circuit.

When we changed drivers, after the mountains, the people gave the driver a piece of their mind, and informed his supervisor that he was an idiot. The supervisor seemed to take it seriously.

If you get on the bus early you may even be able to set yourself up at the table located near the left rear of some of the buses. We have been able to do this most of the time.

Where can I find information on the bus from Madrid to Seville? I, too, am interested in the schedule, the bus station, and the cost. I'd appreciate any information. Thanks, Judy

Regarding the initial question, probably the most convenient way to get to Seville is by train (AVE).It is only 2hours and a half,.....but convenient goes with expensive, you are probably better off with the bus but it will take much longer.

For information on buses, and easy way will be the page of the still national bus company Alsa/Enatcar by the way it has an English version which is not so common.

Although Alsa/Enatcar has many routes around Spain, it doesn't go to Seville.

Check out Secorbus which is the company covering the route.

I agree with Nativo. Alsa is the only bus company who has taken the internet seriously. It's currently the only one selling tickets online.

Regards,

Antonio

BTW, I'm pretty sure there was a link to Secorbus site on a previous post. Please, ALWAYS DO A SEARCH before asking the same questions over and over again.

Thank you for all the information. However, how long does it take to get to sevilla from madrid by bus. If I take the train it will cost me 28 pounds and this isnt the AVE it is TRIANA and takes 3 hrs 15 mins.
How much cheaper would the bus ticket be?
