Madrid: Flamenco - Where to learn 1 DAY? - 11/02/05 05:42 AM

Hi there,

Travelling to Madrid from Australia at the end of November and have 2 free days before we pick up our bus tour.

I would like to take my wife to a place where they can teach us some flamenco steps,(she is a mad ancer). Place like Torres bermejas or Casa Florida is only dinner show right?

Also, can you recommend an affordable way to get to Toledo from Gran Via Ave area? Is the Metrobus de diez good for that journey??

Basically we would love to visit places that will not be included in the MAD tour.

THANKS A LOT!!!

Hello!

Getting to Toledo from the Madrid area should be pretty easy. From Gran Via, take a taxi or metro or walk to Atocha station. There are several trains per day and the cost is not bad. I prefer train travel than bus travel, but I suppose there are buses, too.

Good luck!
