Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language - 01/18/05 01:38 PM

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is a Spanish equivalent of the TEFL certificate.

If there is, any recommendations for a school?

I would think that the equivalent would be the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera: Diploma DELE

Mmm....

Espe wink , I believe what Keeper was trying to find out is what is the exact equivalent to the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, which translates something like: Diploma de Enseñanza del Español como lengua extranjera; now, some universities such as the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija call it DEELE, and my question is; those uni programmes last about 10 months, does anybody know of a "lesser" certificate, one that would take a little less time to complete? rolleyes

Thanks in advance, laugh
