I know this is slightly of the wall but can anyone give me a Spanish translation of "My leg has gone numb"...this is all to do with trying to get my head round transitive and intransitive verb forms.... thank a lot!

It is more common "Se me ha quedado la pierna dormida" because the present perfect tense (pretérito perfecto) gives a sense of inmediateness of the action which has just occured.

You might also try "alguien me ha puesto una inyección de Novacaine en la pierna derecha, y ya no ando bien. De hecho me caigo cada otro paso." :p

Thanks everyone! Can I try another one on you? This time I need your opinions this Spanish sentence: "si estuviera lloviendo habria(hubiera) tomado un taxi". How does this sound to you? I am assuming that construction is possible with estar.
