Madrid: Volunteering suggestions

Hello All

I am about to finish my Spanish courses here in Madrid and I will have around 1 month left in Spain. I would like to spend this time doing some volunteer work, but I have no idea where to go. Any suggestions? I have a lot of experience working with the elderly and I would like to work with the homeless. Where do I begin and who should I contact? Do any of you out there have experience volunteering in Spain/Madrid?
