Bastards!!!! Sorry, MM.... someone is on local radio now and giving an eye witness account that ten minutes ago a bomb has gone off in Marbella now... he's opposite a junior school and the children are in the playground screaming... more to follow.... ambulances and fire engines on the scene and a huge cloud of smoke going into the air... mad

Update... it was a car bomb outside the Hotel Sultan... debris blasted up as far as the roof... looks like just one person helped into ambulance with broken arm ... but with just a twenty minute warning it would be a miracle if no more...

I'm sorry you had to suffer that Anchovy frown

Is always the same ****... This time the reason is to make noise at the same time the European Community gathers in Seville.

When will this madness end?

That's horrible AF! And you are right - they are bastards - beyond a doubt. Bombs are bad enough -but when children are directly threatened and affected - then the perpetuators are first class in caps BASTARDS. Yeah - I'm yelling - mad

I was searching for the answer to your question "when will this [madness] end?" and I came across this site:

www.notinyourlifetime.com

Sounds like no deaths was a miracle. Thanks for the CNN-style on-the-spot reporting, Anchovy.

We in America know what it is to have our towns bombed. But even before 9/11, we knew enough to condem the murderous bastards who dare to call themselves "freedom-fighters" on behalf of the good people of Pais Vasco. They are killers, nothing more. Of course, they seek to disrupt an open metting of democraticlly elected leaders, meeting in a nation which freely elects its leaders. Shows you what they are really against.

There's another thread about Gypsies, and I can say something here: I hate this Basque mafia, but I have no problem with Basques. So, while I hate the whole Gypsy mafia organization, I have nothing against Gypsies in general. I wish people would read these things through before storming off in a huff - this point was reiterated by almost every other poster on the board.

Two more bombs today: one in Mijas(Málaga) and another in Santander.

My heart goes out to Spain. Such a beautiful country does NOT deserve such evil villains living within it's boundaries. Freedom fighters? They have a funny way of showing it - they are just causing chaos and fear amongst a nation of friendliness, sunshine, and damn good food. mad

So, Chrissiij: Which countries DO deserve these types of people, the ugly ones? laugh I think we got your point, I'm just chiding you a bit...perhaps this serious forum isn't the appropriate...er...forum for that...
