Madrid: Dry cleaning possible?? - 01/26/05 11:08 PM

I'll be leaving for Spain at the end of next week for a 3 month stay where I'll be studying and doing an internship. I was told business casual clothing would suffice, but some of the clothes I was thinking of packing need to be dry cleaned. I don't recall ever seeing a dry cleaner in Madrid the last time I was there (granted, I wasn't looking). How common are dry cleaners in Madrid? Could anyone tell me what I could expect to pay? Answers to those two questions and any other additional information would be greatly appreciated! smile

Dry cleaners are everywhere. They're called Tintorerķas. An article of clothing - a jacket, sweater and so on, usually costs between 4 and 8 euros.
