camera etiquette?

camera etiquette? - 02/24/04 05:38 PM

Having never been to the fair land of Spain, can anyone comment on where or where not to be whipping out our camera.

We are accustom to not using a flash in art museums, but is it considered disrespectable to take pictures inside of the churches? Does it make a difference if it is an active church versus a monument?

Will we offend anyone if take their picture and do not ask their permission first?

We would love to take home pictures to remember our trip by but do not wish to disrespectable or inappropriate. Muchas Gracias!

Sorry, I inadvertantly posted this question in 2 places. MM can you either delete this one or redirect the one under 'About Spain' here. Thanks!

Not your fault, whyssb. I moved your topic to "About Spain" since it is about Spaniards feelings/reactions/customs of having their photo taken. I probably should have sent you a PM alerting you of same but.... sorry. smile I'll delete this thread tonight or in the morning.
