Sherry pourer - 04/07/03 03:48 AM

Hello, I am doing some research for a piece of writing I am doing -I am a student (of the mature variety) studying creative and professional writing. Can anybody out there tell me what that long, bendy handled sherry pourer that you see them pouring sherry straight from the barrel with is called. I would be very grateful to anyon who can enlighten me.

Hi Sally-Anne, I think it's called a cataor. From the verb catar. To taste.

Thank you jlramos for the information, much appreciated, now I won't have to keep calling it 'a pourer on the end of a long bendy thing!!'
