wine tour in Madrid - highly recommended

I just came back from Spain last week and while there went on a fantastic wine tasting tour through old Madrid. Our guide Andre was very personable and knowledgable about traditional Spanish wines and complimentary foods. Andre is the sole tour guide and more info can be found at walksofspain.com...

The tour started at Plaza Mayor and proceeded onto some out of the way places - not touristy at all. I would recommend this tour 100%!!!

I saw them advertise either here or at another's site. I was thinking about signing up with them for a 10:30-12:30 a.m. thing. What's the age group like? Is it a good mix?

We had a very small tour of 4 people + Andre our guide - it was a pretty good mix ranging from mid - twenties to late thirties.
Andre is very willing to tailor the tour to your requests/interests.

How did you book the tour? Did you book it during your visit or ahead of time through the web site?

We contacted Andre via email and then had to call him the day of the tour before 3pm to confirm.
