Real Madrid 18/2/2001 - 12/08/00 10:34 PM

Ok, I already did a search of this site and found lots and lots of useful info on soccer in Madrid. I even checked a few of the web sites out. The problem I have now is I can't tell who is playing at home on February 18, 2001. I have found a few schedules listing the teams that are playing, but is Real Madrid playing in Madrid or is Atletico? Is the home team listed first or second on the schedules? Thanks.

Ed,

I guess you have already seen the link to Localidades Galicia. They have a list of matches for 2000-2001.

The home team is always listed first. Localidades Galicia only shows those games where Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid or Rayo Vallecano play at home.

Regards,

Antonio

Hi
i wonder if there is a site with all matches and not only of theses teams. I'd like to know Barelona's matches.
Thanks

Hi Ed S! Just when you thought you had it all worked out.........! Real Madrid may be playing Racing Santander on Sunday 18th February........ but then again, they may not!

For instance, this weekend they were supposed to be playing Español on Sunday, but the game was changed to Saturday (Boo! Lucky win for them!) You can't find out for sure the exact day until usually ten days before the match, as many games are brought forward to Saturday night, for reasons such as the television companies may choose to screen that game, or one of the clubs will be involved in European competition the following week etc.

I am travelling to Madrid the first weekend in February to see Malaga CF play Real Madrid and have had to book the hotel for both Saturday and Sunday nights, as we don't know which day it will be on.......What a shame - we'll have to have two nights out on the town, instead of just one!! (Hopefully celebrating an unlikely win for the underdogs!)

Thanks Anchovy Front, but unfortunately i cannot see a Real Madrid's match. During the days i´ll be in Madrid there are no games of them. I think i'll see a Barcelona's match instead...

Thanks A.F. for the extra info. Luckily, we will be in town Saturday night also just in case it is moved. That might even work out better, more time to see the sites Sunday afternoon.

Hi,

On Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st (February) there are games of Champions League.

So I am 98,326 % sure that Real Madrid will play vs Santander on Saturday 17th. (On Saturdays, they usually play at 21:00 hours).

Hala Madrid!!!

This is unrelated to the original post...but any local teams playing in the Palencia Cup week of 7/2/01? We're a US girls team (15-18yrs)and some of us are planning to spend the week prior touring and would like to meet some other teens. This was the first reference to soccer I found!!
