What's going on in Valencia? What shouldn't I miss seeing or doing?

Hi, Mina.
Here is a post about Valencia:
http://www.madridman.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=000880&p= It depends on what kind of activities are you looking for.
Personally, I think the must-see in Valencia is the Fallas festival, from march 15th to 19th. It summarices the most typical valencian spirit and way of life.
And, what about Nebraska? I once saw a TV documentary and it seemed a very nice place.

Hello, I will be traveling with Mina and we really appreciate your reply and help in our efforts to hit all the good places. Nebraska is a good place to raise a family, it is not the most interesting place I have lived, but it does the job right now!! Thanks again

A good place to wander/get lost/ sip drinks in Valencia is the Barrio de Carmen.

Definatly do go to the Barri del Carme (Carmen) for drinks. If you are lucky, you will be in a bar where musicians congregate after their gigs are done and at about midnight they begin to roll in. After a bite to eat things will heat up, and by the time the doors come down to comply with regs, the party will just be starting.
