Tarragona anyone?

I will be working this summer in Tarragona, specifically Poblet. Has anyone been there, that would like to share their thoughts and experiences there?

I was there only for one afternoon last summer. I was impressed by the Roman ruins, especially the amphitheater. There is an "old town" with very narrow streets and at least one incredible restaurant in what used to be a private home. Of course, Barcelona is always only about an hour or hour and a half away.

Thanks for responding. So you have never actually been out at night in Tarragona?
I am actually going to be working in a town there called Poblet, so slipping off to Barcelona will not be that easy except on my days off. I am hoping Poblet has some fun stuff to do at night
