Alhambra tickets in Madrid?

i'll be staying in guadarrama for a week before heading south to nerja for a week -my question is where is the best place to purchase tickets in madrid for entrance to the alhambra-i'll be driving into madrid in a rental auto so parking or ease of directions may be a factor muchas gracias

I don't think you can buy tickets in Madrid for the Alhambra, I think you just have to go there to Granada to get them...

Does anyone else know any different?
