Pyramid in Madrid - 02/11/02 01:23 PM

Rumor has it that there is a Pyramid in Madrid that was a gift from the Egyptians.

Does anybody know where it is?

I suppose that must be Templo de Debod but it is not a pyramid just an Egyptian temple.
It´s ok but it is not the kind of thing I would visit in Madrid.

The temple itself isn't very impressive but the views of the Palacio Real are nice, especially at sunset (if you have time, of course). On the weekend, weather permitting, there always seems to be a couple taking wedding photos.

The Temple de Debod is in the Parque del Oeste ... behind the Plaza de los Cubitos... and Plaza de España ..

The city council has some information about the Templo de Debod , including a virtual visit .
