Should we squeeze in Cordoba?

Should we squeeze in Cordoba? - 08/07/01 03:16 PM

Honeymooning in Spain Sept. 2 - Sept. 18.

Quick question. Without going into all the details of our trip, here's the situation: we have a hotel reserved in Madrid on the 3rd & 4th of Sept. and the 5th - 7th in Sevilla, planning to take the AVE in between. I thought we might be able to get the early train out of Madrid, stop and spend the day in Cordoba, then perhaps catch a train after dinner and continue to Sevilla for the night. Is this feasible? OR would you concentrate on Sevilla since we only have three nights there?

Thanks in advance. More questions to come

Quick answer wink . Yes, I would stay in Cordoba for a day to visit la Mezquita (the Mosque) and Juderķa (the old Jewish quarter).

I'm going to madrid on sep. 3rd and staying there 5 nights. I'm planning to take a train to Cardoba and go back on the same day. I heard a lot about Cardoba. Maybe I'll see you there.

You absolutely MUST go to Cordoba and tour the Mezquita! I've toured it probably 10 times and each time it's more and more impressive. If you can only visit one town in Andalucia, that's the one I would recommend.

If it's feasible, we want to do it also. Let's sit tight for more replies
