Sitges to Barcelona by train - 06/01/08 07:43 AM
We´re going to Sitges for a couple of nights soon and want to go to Barcelona for the day. Rather than the nightmare of driving we´d like to take the train. I can only find about 3 trains a day on the RENFE website. I´m sure there must be more. Any ideas where to look?
Many thanks.

There are more for sure .. I have a friend who lives in Sitges and went there last year with some military friends ... Great place ! What a party . Ended up cancelling Barcelona and staying 4 nights in Sitges jejeje .
Usually there are 4 trains ( cercanias/rodalies) every hour between 06:00 and 22:00 hrs . They go from Barcelona Sants station . Nice 30 minute journey . About €2.40 . Enjoy guys ! Steve

By the way .. The train stops elsewhere in Barcelona ( not just "Sants" ) . We took the train right from Passeig de Gracia station !

As Steve said go to Passeig de Gracia station, apart from being more central it's also a far simpler station to find your way around. Also for the return to Sitges you'll find it easier to get a seat if you get on at PdG
