Madrid tourist bus - 08/21/07 10:49 AM

I read somewhere that in Madrid they have a double deck tourist type bus that you can get on & off. Now I can't find info - does anyone have information (or a link in English) on this. We will be staying in Segovia and doing day trips to Madrid - best place to hop on - we have a car. Thanks in advance.

http://www.MadridVision.es (official website)

we went on the tourist bus around Madrid its the easiest way to see the sight and get your bearings might seem expensive but if you get a two day pass its well worth it. It is to far to walk to get to all the attractions and is also a welcome rest after a long day.We would sit on the bus and just see the sights just to rest those weary limbs
Where to get on and off depends on where in the city you are, there are stops all over the place so wherever you are there should be a touristica bus stop nearby

Thank you - was the link I had seen but could not find.
Another question: Do they sell a combination "Madrid Vision" & "Tourist Pass" as per previous post or do you need to purchase separately?
Again - Thanks in advance.

You might be referring to the "Madrid Card" (web: http://www.madridcard.es/es/Inicio.aspx ). If so, the Madrid Vision bus IS included in it.

If you're referring to the Bus/Metro "Tourist Pass" as discussed in the "Madrid tourist pass" thread, then no, the Madrid Vision bus is not included in that. Madrid Vision is a private company and the "Tourist Pass" is sponsored by the city government's transportation department.
