Current euro rates for metro and autobus around Madrid

Does anyone know what the current rates for the Metro and also the Bus around Madrid are in euros? I'm trying to decide about how much to budget for and I'm trying to get an idea of the costs. Thanks.

You may want to check out the Madrid metro web site. If you are unable to read Spanish and if my memory is correct, I think one metro ticket for zone A (Madrid proper) is 1 euro or you can by a book of 10 for about 6 euros. You can also buy 5 or 7 day tourist passes (or even a one month pass if you are planning on an extended stay)

There are also tourist tickets valid for days. 1 day is 3,5€, 2 days is 6,30€ and a whole week is 18,40€. Those prices are valid for the city of Madrid. If you want to move all over Madrid state plus Toledo prices double.

1 journey ticket €1; 10 journey metrobus ticket €5.80.

I recently purchased tickets on the metromadrid web site and could not find the 10 day ticket. what I did find was the 3,5,& 7 day ticket. Maybe they discontinued the 10 day?
