Bus: Cordoba->Granada--HELP - 06/07/02 07:07 PM

We are planning to take the AVE from Madrid to Cordoba, explore for a day. Take the bus or the train to Granada for a day. THen take the train to Seville from Cordoba the next day. I heard that the train service to Granada is slow, bus is a better way to go. Is it true? Or driving between Cordoba and Granada a better choice?

And can someone give us more information on the bus ride between Cordoba and Granada?

Thanks for your input!

Between Córdoba and Granada: By bus it's 3 hours, by train it's 4 1/2 hours. There are more buses per day than trains too.

Hi citygirl! I just searched the forum for you and found the " Sevilla/Granada/Cordoba Bus " thread to be most relative to your question. I had posted a schedule with prices for the opposite route by bus and Antonio had given URL to Continental Auto , the bus company which covers this route. It seems there are 9-buses going between the two cities each day.

Good luck and have fun in Spain! Please come back here and tell us all about it, including your bus trip, upon returning home. Thanks!
