Air Europa?

Air Europa? - 01/24/01 11:00 PM

Has anyone flown Air Europa to Madrid from New York? I usually fly Iberia, but the Air Europa fares are so much cheaper! Is there a catch?

It's been a few years since I last flew the New York-Madrid Air Europa flight (I no longer fly to or from New York), but I've always found Air Europa to be just as good an airline as the more expensive ones. Don't let their low prices fool you. There's no catch I've ever been aware of. I would recommend them.

Air Europa:

The good news: nice new planes, good prices, good staff, on schedule flights
The bad news: very small seats and little leg room

Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

Yes I could barely walk after I left the plane. Also they charged 450 for wine which is very poor indeed

Well, we just booked Air Europa for April! (YIPPEEE!!) I'm not looking forward to the cramped quarters, but the $300-$400 difference in airfare will help me to accept it better!! I'll just pack a lot of Ibuprofen and hope to sleep during the flights!!

Thanks again,
Denise
