Madrid to Segovia - 01/05/01 02:54 PM

I am going to Madrid at the end of March and want to take a day trip to Segovia, which I have done in the past. However, I can't remember how we got there. Which bus station/bus company can get me there and back.

Gracias por las recomendaciones.

Just do a search using the keyword "segovia" in the subject of all the previous posts. You will find other posts with information on how to travel betweeen Madrid and Segovia.

Regards,

PS: The right spelling is "pelirrojo".

I was just in Madrid and took a day trip to Segovia.

I rode the train to Segovia (from Chamartin)and it was a very nice ride. I was impressed. However, the train station is a bit further away from the city center in Segovia. It cost around 760 pesetas one way.

The bus was also a nice ride, and a lot shorter. It only costs 560 pesetas one way.

You can catch the bus at the station near the Principe Pio metro station in Madrid and it takes you to the city center in Segovia.
