Apartamentos Murillo - Seville - 03/28/02 01:29 PM

We spent four nights here in a 2-bedroom/2-bath apartment and really enjoyed it. It's in a tiny pedestrian street in the Barrio Santa Cruz a few steps off the Plaza de los Venerables - a great location for walking around to all the sights. There are lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood too. If you arrive by taxi, the Plaza de los Venerables is the closest you can get to the front door. Our taxi dropped us in the Plaza Santa Cruz and it was not as close. The apartment was fine for a few days, but there were some interesting eccentricities. The gas hot water heater was in the kitchen and roared into action whenever the hot water was turned on. It could handle only one shower at a time, or one dishwashing session. The beds were comfortable but one bedroom was so small that the closet doors could not open wide which prevented pulling out the built-in drawers. None of this created any significant problems and we enjoyed our stay there. There was a futon sofa in the living room that could have slept an additional person. This was a great value for two couples at 130 euros per night.
