B&B in London (UK) - 01/30/02 01:10 PM

I know, I know, this is a board about Spain. I'll delete this thread in a few days. In the meantime, I would like to ask you for some help.

I have a friend who is studying at the University of Sheffield and he wants to visit London for a week with her girlfriend. Unfortunately, London is extremely expensive for a Spaniard and they are looking for a "cheap" place.

If anyone have any suggestion, please, e-mail them to me or post it here but I'll delete this thread not to mix the information about Spain with other things.

Thanks for your help.

What time of the year will they be in London? If it's during the summer or at Easter it would be worth trying for accommodation at one of the university halls of residence. Also, try posting on www.lonelyplanet.com. A lot of young people use that message board and I'm sure you'll get a lot of specific answers to your question. Also think about youth hostals, YMCA's etc. London is expensive but I am sure there are options available for young people or those on a budget.
