Barcelona Hotels

WoW! What a great site for first time Spain travelers. We are Staying for 2 nights in Barcelona before touring southern Spain. We have 4 hotels in mind and are looking for any input from other visitors. Hotel Opera, Hotel Principal, Sol y K guest house and Apartment Lamplight Sant Miguel in Barcelonata. All input is greatly appeciated. Also does anyone have experience with using Rates To Go for hotels in Spain? Thank You Bob and Pat

Last May I stayed at the Hostal Opera ...and posted a positive review of it. The place is in a great location...right off Las Ramblas, across the street from the Opera, safe area and within walking distance of everything. It's clean and the people are very nice.
I'd stay there again without hesitation.

I spent a week last December at Hotel Principal and was very pleased with the experience. The location was excellent a couple of blocks from Las Ramblas, the room was comfortable, and the price which included breakfast was very reasonable.

Has anyone stayed at Hostal Ciudad Condal?
It is also near Las Ramblas. - Di
