Me again, I also stayed here last week. Same again - single room, sink, shared bathroom. This time on €23!! Lovely place - clean, close to the centre.
Also, thoroughly recommended.

I would bet he means Hostal Castro in Madrid, in the Huertas neighborhood, Calle de Leon 13, phone 91 429 51 47; the website for this,
http://hostalcastro.mercamicro.es/ doesn't seem to work; it asks for my MSN password, but wouldn't complete the connection.
