Madrid: Hostal Aresol?

Hi, I'll be in Madrid (first time!!) in mid March with my boyfriend and we're staying at HOSTAL ARESOL Arenal 6-3º28013 Madrid. I got it through a recommendation through another website..does anyone have any feedback on this hostal?
I sent emails to Hostal Lopez and some others, but there has been no response. thanks!

Good choice with Hostal Aresol . It really is great. By "great" I mean "better than your average hostel".

I spent one night there in October 2000 but so have many others here - and many have posted their reviews right here in this forum.

Try the SEARCH link above/right and type ARESOL MADRID as your keywords and you'll find LOTS of previously postings about it.

I spent 4-5 nights there in July 2002. It is a great hostal - very clean, people very friendly, etc. I also like the location - just a few meters away from Puerta del Sol.
