Madrid:Hostal Gonzalo?

Hi,

I am in Australia but will be in Madrid in about a month. I tried to book at Hostal Lopez but they were full. How can I contact Hostal Gonzalo to check Availability for the 2-5 Dec.

You can only contact Hostal Gonzalo by phone, I'm afraid. When I was taking "The Grand Tour" in October 2000, no one there spoke English except for the son and he was working at the time so you can't bet that he'll be there by chance to take your call. I'd suggest finding someone who can speak some Spanish to make the call for you.

As for other places, there are TONS of them! Just browse this forum and you'll find MANY recommended places to stay for little money.
