Affordable accomodations in Malaga?

Hi, I'm new to the site. I searched for info. on clean, inexpensive places to stay in Malaga but couldn't find it. (My apologies if this is redundant) but I'm looking for inexpensive and clean accomodations in Malaga such as hostels, pensions, family stays or budge hotels. I couldn't find any hostels listed for Malaga on the International Hostelling website. Thanks!

Hi wanderlust0413! It's my impression that the city of Málaga doesn't have a big "web presence" when it comes to budget lodgings. Probably most of the nicer hotels do have websites, however.

I see there are 4 hostels (called "hostales" in Spanish) and 1 youth-hostel (called "albergue juvenile") listed @ http://www.spainhostels.com/links/Andalucia/Malaga/Malaga/ . You might also try a www.Google.com search using the keywords "Málaga Hostal". This will likely yield Spanish-language websites but is worth a try. Good luck!
