After reading your post on your blog I had the impression that your a bit down today.
Well, a birthday is allways time for revising.
I loved the message in the Black Eyed Peas song. A voice against our "not thinking society".

I feel GREAT today, very very alive, and very happy as I usually do on my birthdays. Today I feel special, fortunate, and thankful to be me, to be here in Madrid, and to be doing well. And now going out for a birthday dinner. Woo Hoo!!

Thanks everyone! The dinner was supposed to be at the Restaurante Tío Pepe - very Spanish - but on the way decided to instead to an Italian place - and was already at home in bed by 11pm. How exciting! hehehe..

The restaurant was just okay and the evening was too. I actually celebrated my birthday the night before at a seafood place and had ALL kinds of shellfish that I nearly exploded. Wow, that was great. Had berberechos, navajas, shrimp, lobster, and a couple other kinds I can't remember now. For starters I had a wooden plate of Ibéricos (jams) and cheese.

But I'm very very happy to be 42 years old. Wow! I can't believe I was 31 years old when I started this whole MadridMan thing. How time passes.
