Puna,

I'm having the same problem even though other sites come up quickly.

MadridMan? Any ideas what's causing it to end up slower than snail mail? Is it under a hack attack?

Me too. I'm even actually missing out reading some posts because I can't wait for them; so I'm just reading the ones with the most attention grabbing subject lines only.

Boo hoo.

I'm SO sorry, people. This is all VERY VERY irritating to me as well as to you.

Dear Sir, No slow-downs should be present at this time. If you are still experiencing any problems, please, run a traceroute from your PC to your website and forward us the output.

This has been going on for a few weeks now and I'm SO tired of it all! I'm considering changing website hosts. Please be patient. Thanks!

MadridMan,

It's working great now, but the graemlins and the rest of the graphics seem to be the slowest part of the uploads. That's what seems to bog us down when things are going right, and even worse, when there's congestion.

I can't help but wonder if it isn't a possibility that the host you are using isn't supplying enough bandwidth for what they have on their service. That's something I was told has a serious effect. Of course they won't admit it, that wouldn't be good for business... rolleyes

But rest assured, I'd rather "fight to get in" to the MadridMan site than go to others, even if I can float right in... smile

Things seem to be working now (noon Eastern) including a quick scan of other locations on our favorite site. Ah, MM - the patience required to cope with technology! Thanks from all of us for fighting the on-going battle!
